But the truth is, there's nothing left for me to say about this team except for one thing: win or lose, the 2008 Phillies are the best team to play in Philadelphia in my life. If they can play .500 ball over six games, they'll be World Champions, but their performance on this stage, even if only for one game, trumps anything any of the other teams have done. If they don't finish the job, it will be because Tampa comes back and proves they're even better, because as of now, there is no doubting of the Phillies left to be done. They're not perfect, but they're good enough to win a World Series. That's a feeling I'm just not accustomed to feeling. Why can't us?
