Because I'm still alive, bored, and prefer to spread this via blog rather than e-mail...

    1. What is your occupation right now? Freelance writer/Bum
    2. What color are your socks right now? Black. I'm in the dress socks phase of my laundry cycle.
    3. What are you listening to right now? Australian Open coverage on ESPN.
    4. What was the last thing that you ate? Half of a footlong Tuna on Wheat from Subway, leftover from my late lunch and standing in for the nasty-ass 'Smac which took an hour and twenty minutes to get here.
    5. Can you drive a stick shift? Nope
    6. Last person you spoke to on the phone? The person at 'Smac who answered when I called to tell him I expect better from them.
    7. Do you like the person who sent this to you? Every now and then ;)
    8. How old are you today? 24
    9. What is your favorite sport to watch on TV? Hockey
    10. What is your favorite drink? "Endurance" vitamin water
    11. Have you ever colored your hair? Yes
    12. Favorite food? Steak wit Whiz and Onions from Jim's on South St. End. Of. Story.
    13. What is the last movie you watched? Man On Wire.
    14. Favorite day of the year? Opening Day. Before anyone asks...if I didn't mean Baseball, I wouldn't have capitalized it. There's only one Opening Day.
    15. How do you prevent anger? I try not to deal with people who make me angry.
    16. What was your favorite toy as a child? Video Games
    17. What is your favorite season? Winter. Fuck warmth.
    18. Cherries or Blueberries? Be my cherry pie...
    19. Do you want your friends to e-mail you back? I'm not e-mailing them, so it would be hard to e-mail me back.
    20. Who is the most likely to respond? Michelle, because she'll feel compelled to now that I've called her out.
    21. Who is least likely to respond? Amanda, because of the few people I believe have ever read my blog, she's the one least likely to be keeping up with it these days.
    22. What are your favorite sports? All the ones which aren't: the X Games, Cycling, Horse Racing, Fishing, Cricket and Weightlifting. Oh and fuck the NBA.
    23. When was the last time you cried? Right after Thanksgiving, Michelle and I finished off her first viewing of Six Feet Under. I bawled like a child during the last episode, just like I did the first time I saw it. I doubt I'll ever see the day when that's not the best episode of the best TV show I ever watched.
    24. What is on the floor of your closet? A box of beer, a few pairs of shoes, my cat's litter box, food, and water bowls, a beastly creature going *munchmunchmunch*
    25. Who is the friend you have had the longest that you are sending to? The Internet.
    26. What did you do last night? Had dinner with my parents, Michelle, and the McCarthy's, before watching "Big Love."
    27. What are you most afraid of? Mushrooms. All, not just the trippy kind.
    28. Plain, cheese, or spicy hamburgers? Spicy and cheesy. Duh.
    29. Favorite dog breed? Literally the very day before the world became obsessed with the Obama puppy, I saw my first Golden Doodle in Duane Reade. It was pretty much the only dog I've ever loved unconditionally.
    30. Favorite day of the week? Thank the NFL with a recent assist from State Farm: It's just the beginning of my happy go fun day...an I'm feelin kinda sun day...
    31. How many countries have you lived in? 2 (but only if living in Oxford (which is cooler than Spain (Rigby, if you're reading this, I'm counting on you to get my back on this issue)) for a summer counts)
    32. Diamonds or pearls? This was the ridiculously silly thought which compelled me to respond to this to begin with: Diamonds are a Pearl's best friend.
    33. What is your favorite flower? Bloomin Onion. Click me for the rest!

    In case anyone hadn't heard...

Brett Favre held a press conference Friday to announce he wouldn't hold a press conference to announce his eventual decision on whether to play in 2009.

    Wishful everyday begins right now...

    Dear Andy Reid,

This is gonna be a pretty simple, pretty nice letter, not the angry ones I usually write on here. If this proves true, you do EVERYTHING to get him. You trade both of those first rounders you have, you re-sign Runyan and Thomas for a year a piece for as much money as it takes, and you line up Crabtree opposite Desean for the foreseeable future. You've just given whoever you decide will be QB after Donovan's next season on the brink a ridiculously talented, diverse WR tandem which would probably be the 2010-15 version of Smith/Muhammad, had Muhsin not skipped those couple years in the middle. I'm gonna be reminding you of this every moment from now until the draft, or at least until it becomes painfully clear that he's going in the top 3.

    Love,
